I AM outraged over the audacity of George Osborne and his dereliction of duty towards the residents of Barnton, Lostock and Rudheath.
Even if we leave aside the clear conflict of interest in his role as an MP with that of editing a major newspaper; what does it say about the status of a constituency MP?
His action demeans all those hard working full time MPs.
I am amazed by the reaction of Patti Goddard, the Tatton constituency president who supports this exciting move.
She should be demanding his resignation and securing the selection of a candidate who will do the job properly.
How can this maverick who is now pulling in more than £1million a year truly represent and support the thousands of families in the Northwich suburbs?
