THE Poppy Appeal for 2016 in Northwich raised a total of£34,969.
We wish to thank the general public, businesses and supermarkets for their help and support.
Grateful thanks to Chester West and Chester Council and Northwich Town Council for their help and support.
A special thanks to Mr Terry Gamble and all the collectors who worked very hard during the appeal.
To 146 Air Cadets and Northwich ACF for their street collections.
The welfare needed to support our armed forces continues to increase on an annual basis.
The need to provide help and support for all the ex-service community is at the forefront of the work of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
You do not have to have served in the armed forces to join the British Legion.
A few hours of your time for the two weeks of the Poppy Appeal in November would provide muchneeded support.
Should you wish to join us please contact Marshall Hunter, chairman on 07909 133996.
