I DROVE into Northwich on Sunday, May 7, and the traffic was horrendous. Roads closed, so lots of diversions. I drove to Sainsbury’s only to discover I had a puncture.
I was about to ring my breakdown service when a young man in a taxi offered to change my tyre. He was a lovely young man and said he was Romanian.
What would our country do without all these people from Europe and Eastern Europe? I offered him some money but he would not take it.
I will shop in Winsford in future, as Northwich is a nightmare.
