Quay asset
I WAS delighted to read building of the Barons Quay development will start shortly, Guardian, November 12.
I have reservations about the image of our Asda supermarket, but warm to the idea of a multi-screen Odeon cinema and around seven cafes and restaurants.
If the Barons Quay development turns out as well as Northwich quayside with Waitrose, it will be an asset to residents, and an attraction to visitors.
Hopefully the town’s high street won’t suffer.
