Lush to lash home in Nassau

THE fillies Group 1 over 1m 2f, the Nassau Stakes, and the Stewards Cup over 6 furlongs are the feature events on the final day of Glorious Goodwood and both present punters with a headache.
Aidan O’Brien bids for an incredible 17th Group 1 win of the season in the former, while 28 of the top sprinters line up for the calvary charge that is the latter. Backing against O’Brien has proved to be somewhat foolhardy this summer but I am sticking with his compatriot Jim Bolger’s charge, Lush Lashes for the Naussau, while in the sprint I’m hopeful that Bentong can give us a run for our money at good odds.
