Why should I watch..?
Winsford have reached the table’s top 10 after recording wins in their past three matches.
Lee Duckworth’s improving side has a settled feel and, with youngsters like Sam Howell, Elliot Hull and Ryan Mellor in impressive form at Barton Stadium, there is no reason why they can’t continue to climb in the campaign’s remaining weeks.
They will be motivated as well to avenge a heavy defeat in the return game at Padiham earlier this term.
Numbers game
Winsford’s current run of three successive victories is their best of the season so far. They have not won four games in a row in the North West Counties League top flight since March 2013.
Padiham are unbeaten in four fixtures, but have not yet kept a clean sheet in 2016. Their biggest win of the campaign was a 5-1 hammering of Blues in September.
Man to keep an eye on
Ryan Eiselt
His return to the heart of Winsford’s backline has coincided with a return to winning ways.
Has had to wait for his chance to impress, but has taken it with a series of encouraging performances.
