TWO goals conceded in nine minutes in the second half led to Winsford United's downfall against high fliers Glossop North End on Tuesday night.

The FA Vase semi-finalists were 3-0 ahead by the time Sam Marshall found the net for Blues in the 64th minute.

A late strike by Jason Carey wrapped up the three points for the North West Counties League Premier Division second-placed club, who went ahead through Mark Reed's goal after 35 minutes.

An own goal in the 51st minute followed by Kieran Lugsden's strike in the 60th minute put Glossop in charge.
