WINSFORD United’s run ended short of the final after a four-goals humbling at higher-ranked Stalybridge.
The hosts scored three times before the break, Kristian Platt direct from a free kick before Greg Wilkinson sent a screamer into the top corner from distance.
Craig Hobson headed a third goal from Stephen Brogan’s assist to settle the outcome.
There was time in the second period for Mitchell Austin to lob a fourth for the Football Conference outfit, who will play Nantwich – conquerors of Macclesfield – in the final.
