OVER 3 Grange held aloft a first trophy after they brushed aside Sandbach Curshaws to win the Crewe and District FA Junior Shield on Saturday.
Sam Dodds, Joe Standish and Brandon Icely were on target for the Winsford outfit in a 3-0 victory against their Crewe and District League rivals.
Meanwhile Barnton Wanderers took another step towards claiming the Premier Division title when they brushed aside Madeley White Star.
A 6-1 victory, their ninth in succession since the turn of the year, means they will secure top spot if they beat Winnington Avenue tonight, Monday.
Clock Tower edged out Mary Dendy by the odd goal in five, while substitute Aaron Gee’s goal earned a draw for Winnington Avenue 1994 from their meeting with Sandbach Town.
