DEFENDING champions Leopards lead the way in qualifying for the next Mid-Cheshire Super League campaign after winning four successive matches.

Tigers are close behind them in Group One, with Winston Duff and Craig Lee showing promise in their five matches, while Raptors have collected three wins from four attempts.

Chris Hough and Simon Lafferty have both shone for them so far.

In Group Two, Hawks – with Matt Lafferty and Dave Motherwell yet to taste defeat – occupy top spot in the table with four victories.

The battle behind them is a close-fought one with Sticklebacks, Bears and Valiants tied for second on 27 points after four rounds.

The top six sides in Group One will make up the top flight when the Super League starts at the end of next month, while the bottom four – along with the leading three teams in Group Two – form the second division.

The remaining seven teams form Division Three.
