RUDHEATH will attempt on Saturday afternoon to do something no other side has managed in the past two seasons – beat Tixall in the Brunner Cup.
The Prenton-based outfit, who scored a full house against Poynton in the previous round, have lifted the trophy in each of the past two seasons.
Comberbach are another side from the Mid-Cheshire Bowling Association with one eye on a quarter-final place.
They take on LMRCA at Grange Sports in Warrington.
Frodsham Red Lion have been paired with Budenberg, while Crosstown meet six-time winners Lloyd Hotel.
However the tie of the round pits Wharton Cons against old foes Castle Private.
Cuddington will act as hosts.
The Northwich side were comfortable victors when they clashed in a Premier Division encounter last Friday, returning nine winners.
Play in all ties starts at 2.30pm.
