WINSFORD won a deciding game to clinch a victory against Goostrey, preserving with it a perfect results record this season.
Mark Abbiss, Steve Abbiss, Chris Mayoh and Alex Lerczak were on court at Knights Grange on Thursday night, when the hosts squeezed home by 4½-3½.
They remain four points clear in South and Mid Cheshire League Division Three following eight successive wins.
Hightown A were their hosts last night, Tuesday.
Winsford B remain in danger of being relegated at the level below following a 6-2 home defeat against Acton Bridge.
Mark Garratt, Steve McCormack, Danny Gelsthorpe and Martin Stoilov made up their quartet.
They were due at Wistaston B last night, Tuesday, rivals from whom they are separated in the table only by sets difference.
