MOST of Vale Royal School Sport Partnership’s representatives for next month’s Cheshire and Warrington Winter School Games are now known.
Kingsmead Primary School will contest the mixed Quicksticks hockey tournament, while St Joseph’s Catholic Primary have qualified for the mini basketball competition.
St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary School are Vale Royal’s entrants in the small-sided football.
The under 14s boys’ basketball team from Hartford Church of England High School won a qualifying competition to secure their place.
Teams from County High School Leftwich, St Nicholas RC High School and Weaverham High School contest the girls’ football tournament at under 12s, under 14s and under 16s respectively.
Weaverham boys and girls dominate Vale Royal’s entry to the indoor rowing, although Year 11 girls from St Nicholas emerged as victors in their category.
Qualifying tournaments in High 5 netball, tag rugby, handball, mini volleyball and girls’ rugby are scheduled for the coming days.
The games take place on Monday, March 16.
