POCKETS sent Winsford rivals George & Dragon crashing out of a knockout competition at the semi-finals stage for a second successive Sunday.
Scott Taylor’s brace, plus further goals for Kevin Douglas and Sean Tierney, sealed a 4-1 win for the holders in the Mid Cheshire Sunday League’s Gordon Bennett League Cup.
They will meet Premier Division rivals Forest Road in the final after they thrashed Broadhurst 12-2.
Jason Lord scored four of their goals, while Paul Alcock contributed a hat-trick.
In the top flight, Joe Woolley’s treble helped Davenham to a 6-2 success at Gate.
