FURTHER to our letter of September 24 ‘Write off OAP debts, we would like to draw attention to a letter in the Times of October 3.
This referred to the foresight of the emperor Hadrian who sorted out the mess left by his predecessor by cancelling all citizens’ debts to the state thus revitalising the economy.
Great minds think alike? More food for thought for the Government.
