We will have to continue supporting Chester

IN reply to the article relating to Chester’s weekly bin collection we comment that the title Cheshire West and Chester says it all.

To the detriment of those living in Vale Royal and Ellesmere Port & Neston, residents will have to continually support the city of Chester. The 17 councillors who voted are just feathering their own nests in preparation of the new authority.

With a few minor exceptions, fortnightly collections work well.

All it takes is commonsense and a commitment to recycle all we can.

We must look to the future – which we believe Vale Royal does – and help protect the environment for future generations.
