I feel let down by our councillors

I FEEL appalled and completely let down by these councillors who’ve not protested at the decision that Vale Royal residents should contribute to Chester’s weekly waste collection.
This is in addition to my fury at the small fortune being spent on splitting the county of Cheshire into two and getting rid of Vale Royal Borough Council, which has served us so well.
The councillors were elected to serve the people, the majority of whom appear to be against these decisions.
It is ironic that you report that VRBC won the national title of Best Council to Work For last year, only for it to be demolished next year.

He or she would be a complete laughing stock in any case,but the sheer waste of money is a clear indication of the contempt in which local Councillors hold the
Electorate. There was absolutely no justification for this ridiculous post in the first place,but now,in the light of the recent financial disasters,it would be an act of blatant extravagance to continue with it.
Vale Royal goes in 2009.So should the Mayor.
