Oulton Park is the place for this event

I HAVE seen the reports regarding the money being given towards the Thundersprint.

I am a big supporter of motorcycle events, and also a friend of Garry Gardiner, and help him out with his commentary duties.

This event should be run at Oulton Park not in a town centre.

Most traders I speak with tell me it does not help bring in trade. It could well be staged with all the facilities for motor sport, and all side shows also.

By having admission charges and sponsorship this event could be run like any other motor event, without handouts from our council.

I have a business on Winsford High Street, where council cash is so strapped it’s become a complete eyesore, as reported many times in your paper, but it seems there is plenty of cash for something like this event which is free for all and not all the public are in favour.
