I feel let down by our councillors

Zero tolerance

IN reply to the gentleman who castigated me for complaining about the illegal parking situation in Northwich (September 10) may I just say I use Weaver Way virtually every other day and the illegal parking does cause problems at times. Only last week, traffic was halted because a delivery vehicle at McDonald’s could not reverse out because a vehicle was illegally parked.

Mine takes all sorts of crap from kids, and often reacts with a look of "please stop, I'm not enjoying this" If the torment continued, would my otherwise placid and good natured dog react in the only way (apart from running off) he knows i.e warn them off with a nip/bite ? The answer is that he might, because he's an animal who reacts on instinct. He is trained to ignore cattle, horses, ducks,sheep etc. which he does perfectly, However I always keep an eye on him. I never trust him more than 90%  − Badger

I just have to write and tell you all just how wonderful some Doctors can be...take our very own Dr. Royle at weaverham surgery..I had to make a visit yesterday and when I saw him he looked so healthy and like a young lad (I think he is nearer fifty maybe sixty ) I commented on how well he looked and he told me that he had run a marathon in May this year and raised £350 for parkinsons' disease − Poppy
