Why am I not surprised?

THE fall suffered by Elsie Hill, (Guardian, December 17), in Northwich town centre, is no surprise to other residents who are fully aware of the dangerous state of the pavements and other walking areas.

Memory Walk a success

THE Vale Royal Memory Walk held on September 21 was our best yet, probably due to increased media coverage and because it was a gloriously sunny day. I would like to thank every one of the 135 walkers who walked with us at Marbury Park for all their gratefully appreciated support.
