ARTISTIC youngsters from across the borough will see their work on public display in Winsford.
Their creations will be mounted on the hoardings that surround the new Winsford Lifestyle Centre building site.
Painter and digital artist Paul Clifford worked with the budding artists to develop a piece of garden-inspired artwork that will be on show as part of Cheshire’s Year of Gardens.
Youngsters were invited to create screen printed silhouettes of themselves that were then developed into dramatic flower themed self portraits. Clr John Grimshaw, lead councillor for recreation, rural and culture, said: “The workshops provided an excellent opportunity for the young people to work with a professional artist and come together to create a piece of art for public display that everyone in Winsford can enjoy.” The final submissions are due to go on display on September 9.
