COFFEE drinkers in Winsford are being encouraged to stick the kettle on for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Registrations have been pouring in for Macmillan Cancer Support’s annual fundraising event, but the people of Winsford are lagging behind.
Alice Edmond, fundraising manager for south and east Cheshire, said: “We have 24 coffee morning registrations in Northwich, but only eight in Winsford and Middlewich combined, so I would like to challenge local residents to put the caffeine back into Winsford and Middlewich by joining in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
“It’s an easy and fun way of raising money. Just get together with friends, family or colleagues and put the kettle on and you’ll really be making a difference to people affected by cancer.”
