Blanket caught fire

FIREFIGHTERS had to be called after an electric blanket caught fire in Winsford.
Two engines from Winsford sped to the scene in Bakers Lane at 1.27am following reports of smoke coming from a house.
The property was already fitted with smoke alarms but these had failed to go off.
