THE family of a Winsford biker killed when his motorbike crashed into a lampost has paid tribute to a ‘fun loving family man’.

Frank Drury, 27, died following the crash in Northwich Road, Weaverham, at 3am on Sunday, July 13.

In a statement his family said the beloved father, son, brother, uncle and grandson would be sadly missed by all those who loved him.

They said: “Frank was a fun loving family man. His family and close friends were his world. He doted on his three children and the rest of his family. He would do anything for them and was always there at the drop of a hat when needed.

“He lived life to the full and enjoyed everything he did. His other passions were Manchester United football club, boxing and music.

“He was popular and was always surrounded by his friends and family.”

I saw frank grow up from a little kid.

He was a typical kid then, always into something but a good lad at heart. He always spoke and had respect for people who gave him respect. I remember when he first came into the pub. Cocky and know it all. I took him to one side and explained how to behave and he listened and took it in. I liked him a lot.

I know his mum and dad and my sincere condolences go out to them both. Also to his other relations and friends.

The days we shared were great,
you truly were a number-one mate.
In sport and in leisure
our training together was a pleasure.
For those angels will keep you safe,
Because you my friend are a treasure.
