Don’t you just hate missing out on things? Maybe it’s jealousy – oh dear.
Recently some friends won the Winsford Guardian prize of tickets to Legoland. Not bad.
The thing is I didn’t even see it. I read the Guardian every week but I didn’t even see it.
I suppose it isn’t that serious, it could be worse.
Some years ago a friend of my brother thought it was odd when she put a gold coloured tablet into the dishwasher (they are usually white/blue). She wasn’t pleased when she later found out that producing the gold tablet to the manufacturers would have won her £100,000.
You could go mad, couldn’t you, if you fretted about all the missed opportunities in life.
It always amazes me that people who have been educated in the British, supposedly Christian, education system and have lived in this so-called ‘Christian’ country, don’t seem to know anything about Jesus Christ...... now that is a missed opportunity.
Local churches provide lots of opportunities for people to hear about Jesus Christ.
There are Alpha courses, Christianity Explored courses.
There is nothing heavy or manipulative, just an opportunity to ask questions, discuss and learn. Why not give it a go?
