Winsford Neuromuscular Centre to host Paralympic flame event

WINSFORD’S Neuromuscular Centre has been chosen to host a Paralympic flame celebration between 1-6pm on Tuesday, August 28.
The centre, which works with adults and young people with muscular dystrophy, will host a range of sporting demonstrations from local clubs on the day.
The flame is due to arrive at the centre, on Woodford Lane West, at 1.30pm.
The centre has been given the honour of performing an extinguishing ceremony at 5pm, before the start of the main Paralympic flame relay in Buckinghamshire.
