MBE celebration night

AN X Factor star will appear at a Help for Heroes night to celebrate the MBE given to Winsford cancer fundraiser Gary Steele.
The evening between 7pm-late on Friday, August 31, at the Winsford Conservative Club, will feature a performance by singer Sophie Bond, as well as a set from DJ Slim.
Richie Rawlinson, of Winsford Help for Heroes, said it was important to mark the work of Mr Steele – who has raised thousands for prostate cancer.
“At least 14 of my personal friends wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for Gary,” said Richie.
Tickets are £4, available from the club.
