Fringe festival winners at Africa night

AN AFRICA Live fundraising night will be held at de bees nightclub in Winsford this Saturday, July 14, from 4.30pm.
Usifu Jalloh will from Sierra Leone will perform storytelling and percussion, followed by a set from Africa Entsha, a four piece a cappella band from Soweto in South Africa.
Africa Entsha won the Performance of the Fringe award at the Edinburgh festival in 2011. Their style blends African languages and rhythms with contemporary western styles.
South African food will be available at the event, which will help raise money to send students from the Winsford E-Act Academy to Kenya to help with community aid projects.
£5 adults, £3 concessions.
