A TEENAGER was shot in the leg with an air rifle in Winsford on May 22.
Two girls were walking along the footpath leading from Knights Grange to Nixon Drive at around 9.30pm.
A noise was heard and one of the girls, aged 18, realised she had been shot in the left leg.
It is believed the girl has been hit with an air rifle pellet – the removal of which will require hospital treatment.
