WHARTON residents are being invited to join forces with police for a Community Action Meeting on Tuesday, February 16.
PCSO Phil Hambleton, Weaver Vale Housing Trust and the parish council will all be attending to give their views on areas they feel police should focus on.
The public can also get involved and talk to officers about their concerns before deciding on the issue they want to see prioritised.
PCSO Hambleton said: “Speeding and Parking were selected as high priorities at the last meeting back in May. Since then we’ve been working hard to address those concerns.
“This meeting will give people an opportunity to let us know if they feel our work has been effective. They can also tell us where they want to go from here or if there is a new problem affecting their quality of life in the community.”
The meeting, which starts at 7.30pm, will be held at the Community Centre on Bradbury Road.
