FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire in Worthington Close, Runcorn, this morning after reports that people were trapped.
Flames ripped through the semi-detached house just before 2am but when crews arrived, the house was empty.
Firefighters had earlier attended a fire in Stockham Lane, Runcorn, around 1.30am but no one is thought to have been injured.
A fire in a gas-fired back boiler at a property in Waterford Way, Murdishaw, on Saturday afternoon also saw nobody inured.
