HMM! Stuck for that last minute stocking filler for the stroppy teenager in your life? This isn't it!

Maybe I've been living in a cave for the past decade but 68? Has the music world really produced enough decent tunes to warrant 68 Now compilation albums? I think not.

They're all here, X-Factor 2006 winner Leona Lewis - not this year's winner you understand, the dulcet tones belonging to that faceless creature will no doubt be topping the charts as you read this - Kylie Minogue, Girls Aloud, Kanye West and Sean Kingston with one of the most annoying tracks of the year.

Hindsight's a wonderful thing and maybe in hindsight, I wasn't the most suitable candidate to review this CD.

A two-disc offering containing more than 40 songs, it took me less than 20 to skim through it.

There are a couple of tracks that, dare I say, my foot began tapping along to, Plain White T's, Sugababes and KT Tunstall, but you will have to wade through the drivel to get to the good stuff.

Wait until it's in the three for a tenner' section and buy it for your Secret Santa next year - if you get someone you don't really like that is.
