THE Hollies Farm Shop will be supporting 30 years of service from St Luke’s Hospice.
St Luke’s in Winsford is their local hospice; since 1988 they have been providing specialist care and support for patients and their families as they face the challenges of life-threatening illness.
Every service at St Luke’s is provided free of charge and they pride themselves on supporting people when they are at their most vulnerable.
Last year St Luke’s supported over 1,000 Cheshire locals with a huge range of support from end of life care on their ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness.
St Luke’s does not receive much support from the government and around 84 per cent of their costs are covered by donations.
From May 18 to May 20, The Hollies will be raising money for St Luke’s Hospice in its Little Budworth Coffee Shop and Restaurant 59.
A £1 donation will be added to the receipt of customers in attendance if they wish to leave a donation with all the proceeds going to St Luke’s.
