A FUNDRAISER in memory of a Manchester Arena attack victim with links to Winsford takes place this Sunday in the town.

Eilidh Macleod, 14, was among the youngest victims of the bombing last May, which claimed 22 lives of those leaving an Ariana Grande concert.

Winsford is set to rally to raise money for 'Team Eilidh' on Sunday, April 22, with a fun fitness marathon to be held at Winsford Cricket Club.

Running from 10am to 3pm, the family day will feature fitness sessions including aerobics, box-fit and 'bootcamp' as well as a raffle, 100ft inflatable assault course and live entertainment.

Members of Eilidh's family, who relocated from Barra in Scotland to Winsford, are putting on the event along with the Cheshire Fitness Hub.

As well as funds supporting a memorial and the Mid Cheshire Mind charity, the event will remember talented piper Eilidh with a pipe band performance.

Also on the bill are face-painters, balloon animals, cricket nets, a bar, stalls, hot food and a magician.
