CIRCUS Funtasia comes to Winsford this week with an enigmatic – if alternative – clown at its forefront.
Comic clown Emilion Delbosq shuns face paint and big wins for a smart shirt and geeky glasses when he takes to the ring with a blend of nerdy humour and showmanship.
“Last time I performed with Funtasia was back in 2016. I’m back this year with plenty of new surprises and laughs up my sleeve,” Emilion said.
The animal-free show features death-defying stunts and gripping stage direction.
Heading up the stunts inside a rotating ‘Wheel of Death’ are daredevil Duo Sifolinis, plus Circus Funtasia’s infamous Globe of Death motorcyclists.
Lucy-Louise dazzles in a dangerous routine high in the air, while Petite Felicia performs an aerial act known as Straps and Hungarian acrobat Atilla’s balances on his hands up high.
Ringmistress Tracy Jones said: “With state of the art lighting and a modern soundtrack, we’re moving away from circuses of yesteryear. We love being a contemporary family show that everyone can enjoy.”
The show runs at the Verdin Exchange from Wednesday, April 11 to Sunday, April 15.
