A WINSFORD apprentice has received a helping hand from one of the stars of Lord Sugar’s famous BBC show.
Elizabeth McKenna, who reached the final five of The Apprentice in 2017 – finishing fourth – offered advice to Vision Express apprentice Charlotte Steel and her company colleagues as part of National Apprenticeship Week.
Charlotte and travelled to the company’s head office in Ruddington to grill Elizabeth in a Q&A session.
Elizabeth said: “It was wonderful to be able to talk about the opportunities that apprenticeships can bring to an individual’s career.
“After completing a foundation course in college I did a Level 3 apprenticeship in floristry, which opened many doors for me to grow and be successful.
“To be able to learn ‘on the job’ is hugely beneficial.”
