RESIDENTS are being asked to share their views on possible locations in town to deliver future children’s centre services.

The consultation will remain open until Friday, March 16 and features two main options.

The first option available to the public is Greenfields Children’s Centre to remain as a main children’s centre and Over Children’s Centre to remain closed.

The second option is Over Children’s Centre to be re-registered and opened as a main children’s centre while Greenfields Children’s Centre to change to a linked service.

The council is now asking residents to share their views to help inform the decision-making process.

Cllr Nicole Meardon, Cabinet Member Children and Families, said: “We are committed to giving children, young people and families the best start in life.

“The views of our residents in Winsford are really important in helping shape where services are delivered from for anyone up to the age of 19.

“I would encourage everyone to have their say on the options being considered to help inform our decisions.”
