A 15-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged with intention to commit a sexual offence against a teenage girl in Winsford Town Park.
Officers received reports of an attack on a 16-year-old girl in Town Park on Tuesday.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said at the time: "At 10am this morning, officers received a report of an assault on a 16-year-old girl as she walked along a footpath near Dingle Lane and the A54 Winsford.
"A teenage boy knocked her to the ground, but ran off when she screamed."
A 15-year-old boy appeared at Crewe Magistrates Court yesterday, February 15, where he was charged with committing an offence, with the intention of committing a sexual offence.
He was also charged of being in possession of an offensive weapon.
He was remanded in custody to appear at youth court on February 21.
