IT is one of the biggest films this year with many fans already pre-booking midnight screenings.

But where is the cheapest place to watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi at the cinema?

We have taken a look at prices in the area ahead of the film being released next week to see if it's worth your while travelling with the family to a cinema far, far away to watch it.

By far the most expensive place to see the film was at the Trafford Centre which would cost a family of four an eye-watering £61 while the cheapest ticket is at the Manchester Lowry Vue cinema for a third of the price at £19.96.

(All prices are based on viewing the standard version - not 3D - on a Saturday afternoon around 5pm.)
