ANTOINETTE Sandbach MP has recently posted surveys to residents in Winsford to ask for their views on the town centre.

Recent months have seen part of the shopping centre demolished, but nothing much has happened since.

The owners of the shopping centre released a development plan near the start of the year but so far the only progress has been the demolition.

Several sites around the town centre are covered by the Winsford Neighbourhood Plan but there is no detail on what should happen in the centre.

Winsford has some great, community minded people and Antoinette is keen to hear your views on what you think the town centre should look like.

Whether you think it needs free parking, or what you think is the centre's best feature, Antoinette wants to hear what you have to say.

Antoinette said: "Over 800 residents here in Winsford have already returned my survey and it has been great to read some of the detailed comments that you have been sending me. I can tell there is a real sense of pride in our town but also a feeling of neglect.

"Too often it seems that Winsford is passed over for other towns in Cheshire and residents want to see more done to help Winsford become a better place to live and work.

"I will be passing your comments to Cheshire West and Chester Council and pushing them to support our town. I would really appreciate if you could take five minutes to fill out the questionnaire and return it as every voice matters."
