ARTISTS are wanted to take part in Winsford’s second annual art trail.
The event, which will run from Saturday, September 9, to Wednesday, September 30, will showcase artwork in a host of shops and businesses across the town.
It follows the first art trail, which attracted 20 participants last September, and organiser Derek Johnson hopes this year’s is even bigger and better.
“We are trying it for the second year running and we hope even more people will take part this time,” he said.
“This year’s theme is ‘local heritage’ and that’s really a loose theme - so it could be anything from salt mining, the Weaver or even something that points towards the future.”
To get involved in the event, bring a piece of work to the Crosshatch gallery, in Winsford Cross, on Tuesday, September 5 or Wednesday, September 6.
Entries cost £3, while artists with two entries can pay £5. For details email rsgwinsford@gmail.com
