A VERSION of BBC show Dragon’s Den will return to Northwich and Winsford.

Salters Den is back for a third year and is looking for an entrepreneur or new business start-up in the Winsford and Northwich area that is worthy of being awarded £2,500 and ongoing expert advice.

The competition sees business Howard Worth Chartered Accountants join forces with Mosshaselhurst Solicitors, NatWest and Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The judging line-up has two new faces this year. Emma Roberts, a partner from Mosshaselhurst and Cheshire West and Chester Cllr Brian Clarke.

Cllr Louise Gittens CWAC deputy leader, said: "We are pleased to be supporting this year's Salters Den.

"I'm sure the entries will be of a high standard and make the job of the judges as difficult as possible.

Successful entrants will be invited into the ‘den’ in November where panel interviews will be held to determine a winner.

As well as the cash prize, the winner will be given one year’s free business advice from Howard Worth and legal mentoring from Mosshaselhurst.

Second will receive six months support while third place will get three months.

The competition is open to entrepreneurs or businesses that started on or after January 1, 2016.

The deadlines for entries is October 27.
