PARKING restrictions have been proposed in Sandiway.
The car park on Mere lane has recently being extended to provide additional off street parking facilities.
In order to improve road safety within the area, Cuddington Parish Council requested that consideration be given to introducing an order that will remove the parking that currently occurs outside Sandiway Library and at the nearby junctions.
The council also requested that limited waiting, no more than one hour, be implemented in the layby outside the shops to prevent all day parking.
The proposal also contains an introduction of ‘Prohibition of Waiting’ at various junctions on Weaverham Road, Mere Lane, Blake Lane, Ash Road, Fir Lane, Poplar Close, Grange Road and Boundary Lane North.
The full proposed Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) and the proposed parking restriction map may also be viewed in hard copy in Sandiway Library.
All objections and other representations must be received by July 27, 2017.
