YOUNG ones from Acorn Preschool in Winsford were visited by their PCSO.

The visit was inspired by the hit children’s show, Paw Patrol, which features a team of heroic rescue dogs.

Children dressed up for the day and learnt about how we help people in various ways.

Charlotte Alfrod, pre-school teacher, said: “The session was all about increasing their language skills and recalling some real life experience so they have something to talk about, plus it was a lot of fun.

“We all dressed up in jackets and used other equipment. We heard the siren on the car.

“The children were interested to hear what happens to baddies. We also made some good comparisons with or nursery about making the right choices.

“That’s the motto at the nursery, choices have consequences.”
