WORKERS at a Winsford Industrial Estate plastics company were evacuated in the early hours of this morning due to a fire.
Firefighters from Winsford, Northwich, Holmes Chapel and Sandbach were called to Road One at 1.53am today, Saturday.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Workers at a plastics company on Winsford Industrial Estate were evacuated in the early hours of the morning as firefighters tackled a fire in a pump.
"Crews set up a cordon around the incident and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to put out the fire.
"They were at the scene for two and three quarter hours."
