Firefighters called to rubbish fire on skate park

One fire engine from Winsford was sent to the scene at 7pm where the crew found a small fire on a skateboard track.

A hose reel was used to put the fire out.

There was also a fire in Bradford Road, Meadowbank, on Sunday in the early afternoon.

Firefighters were called at 12.47pm to a fire involving bushes and used a hose reel.

It is believed the fire was a controlled burning which had got out of control.
