A 40-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested following an attempted armed robbery at the post office in Swanlow Lane yesterday morning.
According to police, a man went into the post office saying that he had a gun and demanded cash.
When the staff member refused he ran out of the store.
Police later arrested and charged a 46-year-old man with attempted robbery, possession of an imitation firearm and shopliftings.
