AN investigation is underway after a fire took hold of a garage attached to a house last night.
Firefighters were at the Gladstone Street property for an hour and a half from around 11.15pm on Tuesday, February 21.
One wore breathing apparatus, and crews used a hose reel jet and covering jet to tackle the blaze.
A high pressure fan was then used to clear the smoke. In total, two fire engines attended the incident.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Everyone from the property was accounted for and a fire investigation is being carried out to determine the cause of the blaze.”
