TWO men are due to appear in court next month following the recovery of £51,000 worth of cannabis from a Swanlow Lane address.
Police executed a search warrant at the property on August 8, 2016, and recovered 51 cannabis plants.
A 42-year-old man from Widnes and a 22-year-old man from the Merseyside area were arrested and bailed and have now recently been charged.
The 42-year-old is charged with production of cannabis, possession of criminal property and possession with intent to supply, and the 22-year-old was charged with production of cannabis.
Both will appear at Cheshire Magistrates Court on February 3.
Inspector Dave Snasdell said: “I urge any members of the public who see any suspicious activity to contact police or crimestoppers.
“Local community intelligence is vital to us in targeting drug dealers or growers.”
