WINSFORD will be littered with roadworks around town over the next two weeks.

The town will see 27 sets of roadworks going on with nine of them said to be likely to cause delays under the roadworks.org red, amber and green grading system.

Out of the 27 sets of roadworks around Winsford over the next two weeks, nine are marked as red (delays likely), five marked as amber (delays possible), and 13 as green (delays unlikely).

The red-graded works will see temporary traffic lights in Hall Lane, Darnhall, throughout today, Thursday, and today and tomorrow in Station Road and at the junction of Middlewich Road and Road One.

Temporary traffic lights will then be put in place on Monday and Tuesday, January 16 and 17, in Townfields Road and Swanlow Lane.

One lane will be closed on Wharton Park Road in January 19 and 20 and in Wharton Road on January 20.

Work in Grange Lane by Vodafone will see temporary traffic lights in place from January 23 to 26 and traffic control measures will be in Delamere Street from January 23 to 27.
